They do get a little harder, but they are all pretty easy. PLEASE review these EACH and EVERY time I send it home. I have stamped them all and they will get prizes every now and then if they have returned them signed. Before you sign them, please make sure they read it to you! :)
This week we are learning all about recycling! Many of you have already started bringing in your plastics you have been collecting! Thank you so much and keep it coming :) K4 really wants to win the pizza party!! Make sure your bags are labeled with K4 on them so we will get credit! The green bags that were in folders yesterday are already labeled K4, so you only have to label any additional bags you bring. If you bring them in when we are in class or we are not in the room, just sit them outside of our classroom! Keep collecting all week! Friday is the last day! I am working on a MAY calendar like I did for April. I will send it home as soon as it is complete! The year is flying by! Have a GREAT week!

February 17 - 20

I hope everyone had a great long weekend!
This week we are going to view some of the letters that have given us trouble. Everyone knows the word sounds, but letter formation and blends are giving some of us trouble, so we are going to really work hard on those this week. We are continuing with our morning sentence and have started short vowel sentences. We are getting really good at them, too! Remember, our sight words are the, a, & is. Practice, practice, practice! We are on the number 20, but, of course, counting way past that! Our unit work this week is about Presidents!
Have a GREAT rest of the week!

There will be booklets sent home last week that are a way we can earn money for our school. It's very simple! You just fill out the booklets and return to school by Feb. 4th. Friday, Feb. 6th - Teddy Bear Day!! Your child may bring ONE teddy bear-it has to be small enough to fit inside their book bag! This will end our week's unit about bears!
